'Masaleydaar' has a line of a dozen, small-batch Indian spice blends for the discerning homecook. All blends are based on my cookbook of the same name.

 

Masaleydaar offers regional spice blends NOT available in any existing brand on the market, instead encouraging folks to experience Indian cuisine as an exploration of gastronomical pleasures.

 

For instance, there is a peppery Puducherry Style Garam Masala from the south eastern coast of India great on everything from a stir fry to a French Toast, fragrant and sweet Gujarati Daal Masala from the western edge that makes a hearty Daal Dhokli, a fiery Vidarbha Kala Masala from the heartland of Maharashtra for a variety of proteins, to two kinds of Kashmiri Garam Masala: Pandit Style & Vaer Style from the Himalayas to add extra flair to robust comfort foods. The Rajasthani Garam Masala from the desert state creates melt-in-your-mouth dishes, a complex Malwani Garam Masala from a region between Goa and Kerala is fabulous with seafood, the sweet and fragrant Bongali Gorom Moshala can make a pot of rice even more heavenly, or the delicate Awadhi Garam Masala with a hint of fennel - makes every dish feel luxurious. In addition, there are fan favorites: Goda Masala and Tandoori Masala. Spices are made in small batches, and are shipped within a week of their making, which makes them fresher than anything available on any shelf.
